Content Creation Day

Next date:

Tuesday, 7 October, 12pm - 4pm

You know that pile of “I’ll post it later” ideas sitting in your notes app? Or that half-written blog gathering digital dust? This day is about clearing the overwhelm and actually producing the content your business needs to shine online.

It’s a focused, practical working session where you’ll create real content for your business, not just talk about it. With guidance, templates, and live feedback, you’ll walk away with finished pieces ready to publish across your platforms.

This isn’t another “sit and learn” workshop. This is hands-on implementation time, with me in the room to guide you through every step.

Get in plenty of practice and have some fun!

This day is for you if you're a small or medium business owner (especially women-led) who wants to show up online with more confidence, clarity, and consistency, without the overwhelm.

You don’t need to be an influencer or a tech wizard.

You just need to show up and I’ll help you do the rest.

What you’ll walk away with:

Posts with captions ready to publish ✍️

Graphics and social media content done 📸

Short videos filmed and edited 🎥

A plan for the next month's worth of content 🗓️

Why it works:

Dedicated time (no distractions)

Support + live feedback

Accountability (so you actually finish)

Small group setting

What people are saying

"I started the retreat feeling overwhelmed and intimidated by video production, but by the end of the two days, I felt empowered, confident, and ready to take action. Merrin’s hands-on approach made all the difference - providing one-on-one guidance, live demonstrations, and practical content creation sessions that brought everything to life.

Unlike other courses where you’re left to figure things out alone, this retreat gave me the tools, techniques, and mindset to "just have a go" and learn by doing. We learnt about valuable marketing equipment like microphones and tripods, learned how to create high-quality reels and stories, and (most importantly) left with actual, ready-to-use content.

Merrin’s expertise, patience, and ability to break things down into simple, actionable steps were exactly what I had been searching for. The bonus? Connecting with like-minded business owners and sharing a fantastic lunch together!

I can’t recommend Merrin’s 2 day video intensive enough—if you're struggling with content creation and video production, this is the game-changer you need!

- Lauren C.

I attended the video intensive workshop with Merrin in December and came away with some great new skills. Being able to edit social media on the go, rather than wait to get home and hop on the Mac, made it easier to do things on the go.

We also touched on the styles of social media marketing we can do and how we should never be afraid to mix things up, do something new and showcase our authentic style. Watch out world, here I come!

Thanks Merrin.

About me

I have been running my own digital marketing business for over 15 years now.

I fell in love with video once I had a smartphone that could capture quality vision. Then during our extended lockdowns I started making Staycation videos and really gained some traction on my socials.

I'm on my 3rd career and I think I might just know a little more than your average Digital Marketer. And I have access to a lot of people who we will connect with to help up your video production game.

I LOVE working with small businesses to navigate the ever changing world of social media, help overcome their fear of appearing in videos, and design marketing strategies to show off their uniqueness.

And have some FUN! I like to teach people how to feel more comfortable on camera and make better videos. And help them STOP overthinking how hard this is!
